Zonta International is a leading global organization of professionals empowering women worldwide through service and advocacy. Zonta International envisions a world in which women's rights are recognized as human rights and every woman is able to achieve her full potential. In such a world, women have access to all resources and are represented in decision making positions on equal basis with men. In such a world, no woman lives in fear of violence.

As Zontians , we are part of more than 30,000 members belonging to over 1,200 Clubs in 67 countries  and geographic regions.  The origin of the word "Zonta" is from the language of the Sioux Indian, and it was adopted as the Zonta International name in 1919. 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

In addition, the symbol of Zonta reflects all members, who essentially are a radiant group of executives, who are loyal to the same inspired goals of service and world understanding with none but the most trustworthy and honest motives.
