The Zonta Club of Glens Falls is pleased to announce its annual Scholarship and Awards
recipients. Zonta International is a leading global organization of professionals empowering
women worldwide. The Glens Falls Club has supported area students with over $67,000
awarded over the past five years.
$19,500 in scholarships and awards were granted at the annual awards dinner on June 10 th .
Recipients were selected based on academic achievement, community involvement, leadership, financial need along with accomplishments and career goals that align with Zonta’s Mission to Build a Better World for Women and Girls.
This year’s awardees included Ahva Olson, graduating senior of the King’s School who received
the Young Women in Leadership Award and Serena Drost, Greenwich High School graduate
who received the Jean M. Coon Humanitarian Award.
Women in Technology STEM Awards were given to area graduates Allison Chuhta, Greenwich
High School, Alessandria Fasulo, Lake George High School and Parker Welch, Glens Falls High
School.
Recipients of the 2025 Zonta Club of Glens Falls Scholarships include graduating seniors Nora

Beiersdorf.
